A dead day Old baby Caught With a 40 Years Old Widow

A 40-year old widow named Mujidat was caught yesterday Wednesday October 30th with a dead day old baby she hid inside a sack around her residence at at the Iba area of Lagos, PM News reports.

It was gathered that a member of the community, High Chief Babatunde Balogun caught the mother of seven when she was  trying to dispose the baby at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday. When questioned on the content of the sack, she claimed she was coming from the market where she bought some household items.

A Sad Story of Rape 'Boy 14 Years Old Rapes a 9 Years Old To Death.

The police in Lagos State have commenced investigation into how a nine-year-old girl died, after sustaining injuries caused by alleged consistent rape. According to police authorities, the deceased was raped over five times, by a 14-year-old student, Onyi Adimabua, in the Ikorodu area of the state.

The father of the deceased, Simeon Jigo,  is the son of the proprietor of the school his daughter attended. He said his daughter opened up about the rape when she started having medical problems. The 77-year-old man said his daughter died on October 3, 2013.

He said, “Up until my daughter’s death, she was a pupil of Fulfilled Greenland School, Ikorodu, and she was in primary three. One day, she came home and started complaining of pains around her vagina, stomach area. We rushed her to Ikorodu General Hospital.

Nigerians To Experience Partial Or Total Eclipse on Sunday 3rd November 2013

If what the Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency, Dr. Seidu Mohammed's claim is anything to go by, then on Sunday Nigerians will witness a partial or even total solar eclipse.

Mohammed made this known at the briefing in Abuja. He urged Nigerians not to panic over the course of the eclipse.

According to his words, the eclipse will be seen across the country and in the West African sub-region.

“Different cultures have different reactions to them. There is no course for alarm.” - he stated.

Mohammed assures people that they don’t need to worry about GSM operation – it will continue to work. Other things, as he said, will also be normal.

“Cities by cities will be reported in Nigeria, where the eclipse will be; partial eclipse or total eclipse. People should continue with their normal business. Because of partial rays, people should use their sun glasses.”

OJB Discharged From Hospital in India, Recuperating.

Music Producer and Singer OJB's kidney transplant was successful and he has been discharged from hospital in India. He sent an open letter. Read Below:

Dear fellow Nigerians. 

Greetings from far away India !I am sure this note from me will catch you with a little surprise. I have been reading a lot of news about ME being published on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and different Blogs by my good friends.
I thought I must take out a quick moment and let you know that I am officially discharged today from the hospital, after a successful Kidney Transplantation Surgery, by God’s Grace. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Nigerians for your prayers & good wishes, without which all this would not have been possible.
I also take this opportunity to thank my friends, fans and family for all the love, prayers and good wishes for a Speedy Recovery!! Be home with you soon …….

Jonas Brothers Split!

The band confirmed – which they say was a “unanimous decision” – following a series of blazing rows

Boyband the Jonas Brothers have left their legion of fans heartbroken after announcing they have split following a series of blazing rows.

Two weeks ago they abruptly cancelled their 19-date comeback tour just days before it was due to begin after a “deep rift within the band” is said to have developed between the three siblings.

They fuelled fan fears they were about to split when they deleted their Twitter account.

Despite Nick and Joe taking to their personal accounts last week to beg fans to be patient, on Tuesday [Oct 29] it was announced the band were quitting.

Confirming the split Kevin, 25, said: “It’s over for now.”

Nick, 21, added: “It’s really hard to say ‘forever. We’re closing a chapter, for sure.”

Joe, 24, simply said: “It was a unanimous decision.”

It came after a meeting on October 3, where Nick confessed to his brothers that he had serious concerns about the future of the band.

“I was feeling kind of trapped,” he said. “I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”

Problems surfaced in the band several weeks ago as the brothers endured several blazing arguments.

Their spokesman, Jesse Derris, said at the time: “There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”

Mother Hides Baby in Her Car Boot for 2-Years.

An abandoned baby, allegedly hidden in her mother's car boot for up to two years, has been found naked and feverish as her Portuguese parents face up to ten years in jail for her alleged neglect.

The unemployed couple from Portugal, who live in Brignac-La-Plaine in the Correze department in France, fronted court yesterday after their baby girl was found in her own excrement in the boot of her mother’s car, just 15 minutes from death.

The baby, thought to be aged between 15 and 23 months, was found by mechanics severely dehydrated and feverish after the woman dropped off her car at a garage in South West France. 

Dr. Conrad Murray Released From Jail After Serving 2-Years

According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. … Murray was released in the wee-hours of the morning.

He was locked up since November ’11 after being convicted of  manslaughter.  He was sentenced to 4 years in prison … but 2 is normal for a 4-year sentence. Murray plans to try and get his medical license back in Nevada and block revocation in California — sources say he doesn’t stand a chance.

Jim Iyke Signs Contract For Seasons 2 & 3 Of His Reality Show.

Jim Iyke’s career is back on track as he is not only working on a new movie in Ghana, he has also signed a contract for the season 2 and 3 of his reality show, ‘Unscripted’ with ‘The Idea Factory’ (IFactory) and ‘OHTV’. He will start working on the reality show in November. He tweeted about it, saying he is untamed for Christ.
