A Boeing 747 Kabo Air jumbo jet which left Kano on Friday en route to Saudi
Arabia made an emergency divert to Sokoto today Saturday October, after several
of its tyres exploded immediately after take off from the Aminu Kano International Airport.
All the 400 passengers aboard the airline have been evacuated from the plane
and lodged in a hotel in the ancient city.
